For the first edition of Rome Art Week the pictures of the master Masayoshi Sukita filled the Show-room with David Bowie’s face.

By putting a number on each of the photographs and destroying the negatives, Sukita made every sample unique.

The exhibition was an exceptional occasion, you would get totally aspired into the world of one of the biggest names of the rock scene worldwide; all of this through the many portraits taken in London, New York and Japan, along with some iconic shots from the Heroes service of the ‘77; images of the trip to Kyoto and shot to promote the Heathen album.

A vernissage of contemporary art which catapults you inside Bowie’s life moments and stimulates your desire of listening to, and telling, stories.

Immersed in this atmosphere, we dedicated an entire day to the Polastoria event, which was an extemporaneous performance of writing and photography. The participants have been shot by a polaroid and the writers of the Sunday Storytelling company made up a story on that picture.

A photograph, a moment, a memory… an emotion!
